Tucker to Chris Matthews:
"The principal that people are poor because they're discriminated against and the federal government can set that right by social spending . . . is a liberal idea. . . . It's been obvious to me for a long time that Bush manages to combine the worst features of "liberalism" (pandering, etc.) with the worst features of "conservatism" (the Armageddon Army, etc.) into a vaguely incoherent, generally corrupt and un-American whole. But, that's just me.
