The U.S. military was training dolphins to shoot scuba-diving terrorists with poison darts that the sea creatures were carrying in a special harness. Their secret training base was apparently swamped by Katrina, and the dolphins have reportedly escaped. Where are they now? Will they fire upon swimmers and surfers?
Now, what you're probably saying to yourself is, "well, that's stupid. No one with a brain would equip the dolphins with live rounds except when they were about to be used in a real situation. Rather, they'd only use blanks for training purposes [pun deleted]. In fact, knowing a massive hurricane was approaching, there's no possibility the dolphins would not have been secured."
