Katrina Coverage

On the 10th, I linked to a ConspiracyPlanet post written by Hal Turner that claimed that the levee had been breached using military explosives: "Loonies: 17th Street Canal breach was intentional".
Turner's site contains an augmented version: "EXPLOSIVE RESIDUE FOUND ON FAILED LEVEE DEBRIS!" One of the augmented portions includes this sub-Clancy bit of dialogue:
When he surfaced and showed the evidence to his superior, the on-site Coordinator for FEMA stepped-in and said "You are not here to conduct an investigation as to why this rupture occurred, but only to determine how best to close it." The FEMA coordinator then threw the evidence back into the water and said "You will tell no one about this."
Piling on layer after layer of tinfoil, I see that Hal Turner has a critic, who, writing in CounterPunch (!), offers "Why Conspiracy Theories Help Bush: The Power of Water"
